The Nigerian Pro Leaue (NPL) has been one of the most remarkable Esports event ever held in Nigeria over the years and this year’s Season 5 was just as remarkable and even some will agree more memorable.
NPL Season 5 now hosted by 10N8E Esports is the longest ever. NPL Season 5 started 5th March 2022 and ended Sunday 28th August 2022, that’s 5 months of intense gameplay featuring 42 teams fighting to become the next Champions of Nigerian Pro League (NPL) which 03 Brothers emerged as the winner with the release of the leaderboard today on Instagram.

During the course of the tournament, 10N8E held a fan Favorite contest which Unsullied Army emerged as the winner and was given a chance to play the Semi Finals of the NPLS5. They finished 18th on the leaderboard, whereas the top 16 were promoted the Finals of the NPL Season 5.
There are several reasons NPL Season 5 stands out, from the length of the event spanning over 5 months to Slime 4kt failure to accept their invitation, to cancellation of LAN Event due to difficulties, to Sidizen Gaming violating NPL Season 5 rules.
NPL Season 5 is officially over, 03 Brothers emerging as the winners will be representing Nigeria at the International Tournament in Indonesia Bali 2022. We look forward to NPL Season 6 next year.
