Share

In recent times, a huge gaming transition has occurred where gamers and Esports players have transitioned from console and pc gaming to mobile gaming. And this has left the PC gaming communities in the dark for a very long time. Luckily for PC Gamers in Africa, Valorant has shown and been able to develop an active PC Gaming Community that may signal hope for PC Gamers in the African Esports Scene and it is with this that Braved Esports is now looking to promote Valorant Scrims so as to nurture and develop the Valorant Communities in Africa prior to the much-expected African Esports Boom.

Braved Esports founded by Victor Akraka in February 2022 is an Esports Organisation that set out to do things differently in the African Comp Scene by ensuring passionate PC Gamers are able to become active and competitive Esports players and their first game to achieving this is through the popular PC Game – Valorant. Valorant as we know is a free-to-play first-person hero shooter developed and published by Riot Games for Microsoft Windows, and it has a likeability ratio of more than 90% for those who have played it. For a very long time, Valorant has been in the dark in the African Esports Scene with mobile games like Call of Duty Mobile, Mobile Legends, FreeFire and PUBG Mobile getting the bulk of attention in African Esports. But following the Gamr Valorant Esports Masters which got more than 700 views on Gamr’s YouTube channel, Valorant now appears to be a strong flag bearer for PC Gaming and PC Esports in Africa through the Braved Esports Valorant Scrims

The scrims will provide the much-needed consistency and competitiveness that would make Valorant a much-respected Esports Title in Africa and would then help promote PC Gaming and PC Esports in the African Scene
