Get ready for an epic gathering of gamers, anime enthusiasts, and game developers across Africa at the Cade Africa Gaming Expo (CAGE24)!
Cade Esports recently announced their partnership with Gameevoesports and Eventfulplusng in an Instagram post for one of the most exhilarating gaming events in Africa.
The annual event designed to celebrate and elevate the gaming culture in Africa will cover titles like EAFC 24, Mortal Kombat, Dance Central, E-Football Mobile, CODM, and E-Chess where players will be required to put their strategic thinking to the test across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria.
The tournament will also feature top players from Senegal, Ghana, the Republic of Benin and Ivory Coast. CAGE24 boasts of a staggering 10,000,000 naira prize pool. Qualifiers from the four African countries are slated to take place from June to August, followed by the competition among players in Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones between June to September and the grand finals among 40 finalists in November.
Anticipated sponsors for CAGE24 are Infinix, Airtel, Carry1st, Monster Energy, MTN and Glo.
Over 10 enlightened speakers across Africa will grace the event. Furthermore, there will be Cosplay and a game development panel session where attendees will get the chance to hear from top developers in the industry.
The CAGE24 event aims to unite gamers from across the six geopolitical zones in Nigeria, promote local talent, and put Nigeria on the global map as a growing hub for Esports in Africa and the world at large.
Two local games from Nigeria and one from another African country will also be showcased and promoted at the event with players competing to become the ultimate champions for these titles.
