Cxmmunity Hardpoint Tournament: A Battle Ground of all Tiers

Share

A big and necessary showdown occurred in the world of Call of Duty mobile. The first of its kind in the Cxmmunity Media space. The format was entertaining beyond expectation as well as the prize pool.

There was a new format introduced to select the winners of the tournament that was held by Nexal Gaming company, the official partner of AER Tournament. An all-hardpoint format that features teams from all the possible tiers. Tier 1 teams came right off the Gamr X event and went to the Nexal Hardpoint tournament to settle scores, and grudges while trying to claim the grand prize

Teams like Nato, NextGen, and Sierra 7 were all in the tournament and matched against each other in the later stages. Sierra 7 went against Nato in the semi-finals and light shined on Nato as they won the bout in style, but a tough-fought battle. Next Gen was not able to secure a spot in the final this time as Ace Gaming took the bull on its own and stirred it in the direction they wanted. The semis left the two finalist teams of the Gamr X event crashing out. Ace Gaming took the initiative in the final and won the tournament leaving Nato with the second position as consolation for their hard work.

Tier 2 was not a playing ground but a blood feast, it was more than a battleground, with a total of 12 teams registered. Two undefeated teams got themselves to the final, but only one team will stand at the top of the mountain. At the end of the event, CZY eSports had so much to say to Ace Matrix and ended up with the win after a fierce and heated battle. Complex Gaming made it difficult for imperials, while they clung on to the 3rd position.

Nexal Esports made their first appearance in a tournament, gaining their experience in the tier 3 division. They were not lucky enough to get their first win. Tier 3 had a total of 13 teams fighting for the grand prize. Deathly Crow was deadly throughout the tournament and was looking to run away with the prize until the finals with UAH Serenity. The journey ended in second position while UAH Serenity took the first position as their reward for fighting teams like X Esports on their way to victory.

The tournament might have come to an end, but the organisers are looking to bring more tournaments with dynamic formats to keep the esports scene as interesting as it can be.
