For the Lovers of Sports, May promises to be filled with entertainment and fun as D-Playhouse, a game hub for VR and physical games introduces MAY MONTH OF CHAMPIONS; a competition set to cut across six different games including Mortal Kombat, FIFA 22, Chess, Scrabble, Table tennis, and Snooker, with a prize pool of 300,000 naira happening live in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

Registration for Mortal Kombat costs 2,000 naira and will be held from the 28th-29th of May 2022. The winner gets to take home 40,000 naira, while the second place leaves with 15,000 naira and other consolation prizes. 

Registration for FIFA 22 costs 2,000 naira and the grande finale will last for two days, the 22nd and 23rd of May where the best player wins a sum of 50,000 naira and the second best, 20,000 naira.

To register for table tennis costs 1,500 naira and the grande finale will take place on the 7th and 8th of August with the winner of the competition going home with 100,000 naira and the second position, 50,000 naira.

Snooker costs 1,000 naira to register and the first and second winners will go home with 20,000 naira and 10,000 naira respectively. The game will take place on the 15th of May 2022

Registration for Scrabble costs 1,000 naira and for Chess 1,500, both games will last for just a day; the 15th of May 2022. The best players in both games win 15,000 naira and the second-best 10,000 naira.
