Cxmmunity introduces the first season of its Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Championship, a mobile multiplayer online battle arena game, in partnership with the Nexal Gaming Community.

Registration for the tournament will begin on the 27th of April and end on the 29th of April, 2023, followed by the qualifiers on the 30th of the same month and the main tournament will run from the 1st of May to the 1st of June 2023.

The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang has a prize pool of 100,000 naira which will be shared across the First, Second, Third and Fourth positions.

The team that emerges on top will win 45,000 naira from the prize pool, the second runner-up will go home with 30,000 naira, the third position will win 15,000 naira and the fourth, 5,000 naira.

The game will be played in two stages; The Group Stage and The Play-off Stage.

The group stage will take place from May 3rd to May 13th and will have teams of four gamers battle it out. The top two teams from each group will proceed to the next stage of battle where the winners will be put together in a bracket and the second runner-up in another bracket. All the games played in this stage will be in a best-of-one format.

The second stage, which is the Play-off stage, will last from the 13th of May to the 1st of June and will take the design of a double elimination. The top two teams from each group will battle their way up to the finals. The upper bracket games made up of winners from the group stage will be in a best-of-three format, the lower bracket games made up of the second runner-up from the group stage will take the best-of-one format, and the grand final, a best-of-five format.
